Six miles south of Center City Charlotte, SouthPark is roughly bounded by Colony Road to the north and east, Sharon Road and Fairview Road to the south, and Park Road and Little Sugar Creek to the west.
SouthPark is a large neighborhood and semi-urban district in south-central Charlotte. It gets its name from the SouthPark Mall, which is the largest shopping mall in Charlotte and all of North Carolina. The neighborhood is a large business, retail, and residential hub with some of the city’s finest dining and shopping destinations. SouthPark has experienced an increase of midrise condominiums and office buildings to complement its suburban-style malls, business centers, and traditional single-family home neighborhoods.
